OTA Updates
Keep your Iconet Gateway up to date with over-the-air firmware updates.
Automatic Updates
By default, the gateway checks for updates daily and notifies you when a new version is available.
Manual Update
- Go to Settings → System → Updates
- Click Check for Updates
- If available, click Install Update
- The gateway will download, install, and reboot (~3 minutes)
Update Channel
Choose your update channel:
| Channel | Description |
|---|---|
| Stable | Recommended. Thoroughly tested releases |
| Beta | Early access to new features |
Offline Updates
For installations without internet access:
- Download the firmware file from the Iconet website
- Go to Settings → System → Updates
- Click Upload Firmware
- Select the downloaded
.fwfile
Changelog
Release notes are available in the dashboard under Settings → System → Updates → Changelog and on the Iconet website.
Rollback
If an update causes issues, you can roll back to the previous version:
- Go to Settings → System → Updates
- Click Rollback to Previous Version
- Confirm and wait for the reboot
