Troubleshooting
Common issues and solutions for the Iconet Gateway.
Gateway Not Reachable
Symptoms: Cannot access iconet.local or the IP address.
Solutions:
- Check that the Ethernet cable is connected and the link LED is on
- Verify the gateway has power (LED should be green)
- Try accessing by IP address instead of
iconet.local - Check your router's DHCP client list for the gateway's IP
KNX Devices Not Found
Solutions:
- Verify the KNX bus cable is connected correctly
- Check KNX bus voltage (should be 28-30V DC)
- Ensure the gateway has a unique physical address on the bus
- Try importing your ETS project file
Matter Pairing Fails
Solutions:
- Ensure the gateway and your phone are on the same network
- Check that mDNS is not blocked by your router
- Try regenerating the pairing code
- Restart the gateway and try again
Devices Show "No Response"
Solutions:
- Check the physical connection to the device
- Verify the protocol configuration in the dashboard
- Look at Tools → Bus Monitor for communication errors
- Restart the affected protocol under Configuration
LED Error Codes
