Physical connection
Mount, wire and power the gateway.
Mount
The gateway clips on a standard 35 mm DIN rail and takes 4 modules. Leave a little space around it in the cabinet; keep it away from the hottest components.
Power and network
One Ethernet cable does both when your switch provides PoE (IEEE 802.3af). Without PoE, connect 24 V DC to the power terminals. The gateway draws under 5 W.

Radios for Zigbee and Thread are built in; nothing to connect.
Power up
Connect the Ethernet cable last. After about a minute the front LEDs settle and http://iconet.local answers. Continue with the quick start.
