Physical Connection
How to physically install and wire the Iconet Gateway in your electrical panel.
DIN Rail Mounting
The Iconet Gateway uses standard DIN rail mounting (35mm). It occupies 4 DIN modules of space.
- Clip the gateway onto the DIN rail in your electrical panel
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit
- Keep away from high-heat components
Wiring Diagram
Ethernet / PoE
Connect an Ethernet cable from your network switch to the RJ45 port. If your switch supports PoE (IEEE 802.3af), the gateway will power on automatically.
KNX Bus
Connect the KNX bus cable to the green screw terminal:
- Red wire → KNX+ terminal
- Black wire → KNX- terminal
DALI Bus
Connect the DALI bus to the orange screw terminal. DALI is polarity-independent.
External Antenna
Attach the included Zigbee antenna to the SMA connector for extended wireless range.
LED Indicators
