Use the Iconet Gateway with Apple Home and Siri.
Requirements
- iPhone, iPad, or Mac with the latest OS
- Apple Home app
- A home hub (Apple TV, HomePod, or iPad)
Pairing
- Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap + → Add Accessory
- Scan the Matter QR code from your gateway dashboard
- Assign devices to rooms
Voice Control with Siri
Once paired, you can control your devices with Siri:
- "Hey Siri, turn on the living room lights"
- "Hey Siri, set the bedroom to 50%"
- "Hey Siri, close all blinds"
- "Hey Siri, activate movie night scene"
Automations
Use the Home app to create automations:
- Time-based schedules
- Arrival/departure triggers
- Sensor-based triggers
- Scene activations
Tips
- Devices are organized by room in the Home app
- Vantage scenes appear as HomeKit scenes
- Changes made in the Home app sync to other platforms in real-time
