Quick Start Guide
Get your Iconet Gateway up and running in under 30 minutes.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- Iconet Gateway IC-GW-KDZ unit
- Ethernet cable (or PoE switch)
- Access to your electrical panel
- A smartphone or computer with a web browser
Step 1: Mount the Gateway
Mount the Iconet Gateway on your DIN rail inside the electrical panel. The unit occupies 4 DIN modules.
Step 2: Connect Cables
- Ethernet: Connect the RJ45 port to your network switch (PoE supported)
- KNX Bus: Connect the KNX bus cable to the green terminal
- DALI Bus (optional): Connect the DALI bus to the orange terminal
Step 3: Power On
The gateway powers up automatically via PoE. If not using PoE, connect the 24V DC power supply.
Wait for the LED to turn solid green (approximately 60 seconds).
Step 4: Access the Dashboard
Open your browser and navigate to:
http://iconet.local
Or find the IP address on your router's DHCP client list.
Step 5: Run the Setup Wizard
The setup wizard will guide you through:
- Network configuration
- Protocol discovery (KNX, DALI, Zigbee)
- Device import
- Matter pairing with your smart home app
